Full job description
IQS are looking to appoint a Building Surveyor with experience in professional surveys, dilapidations, traditional building surveys.
Within this position, you will thrive in an environment with a continuous stream of work whilst working with senior professionals. You will also be comfortable in a client-facing role, helping to develop the existing business alongside our management team.
- Undertaking professional work and producing reports and schedules following initial surveys.
- Report on findings, including recommendations for further invasive investigations or remediation.
- Managing clients’ expectations and ensuring that they are regularly and fully informed with the status of their project.
As the successful Building Surveyor you will have/be
- Building Surveyor AssocRICS minimum
- Strong verbal, numerical and report writing skills
- The ability to work within a team and on your own initiative
- Full driving licence
- Be enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated
- Excellent time management and general organisational skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Freelance
Pay: £35,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
