Allen Construction Consultancy is a multi-disciplinary consultancy working with a range of clients throughout the UK. The Position

We are looking for a qualified Building Surveyor who is ambitious, and shares our values and drive, to join the team. The role will involve working on challenging housing and other public building refurbishment projects of a variety of construction types. This will involve extensive travel, but primarily working in a variety of London based locations including client and site offices, working from home as well as occasional visits to our other offices. We are looking for a dynamic and energetic individual who will thrive in a fast-paced and pressured environment.

The person

You will be

  • Able to perform the full range of Building Surveying duties
  • Self driven and able to work unsupervised to a high standard
  • Confident at conducting Client meetings
  • Ambitious, confident and keen to develop your career
  • A team player who can develop positive relationships with Clients and colleagues
  • Experienced in the roles of Building Surveying and contract administration
  • Committed to becoming a chartered member of the RICS and completing the APC, if not already achieved
  • Excellent at communicating and managing your workload
  • Excellent at problem solving
  • Methodical in your approach to tasks
  • Have a strong technical knowledge of construction including sustainability and building conservation
