About Us

Perfect Home Group is a leading provider of premium made-to-measure window shutters, with over 20 years of expertise in quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service.

As part of our continued growth, we are expanding into kitchens and broader home improvement solutions, with the ambition of becoming the Northwest’s leading home retail brand.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious and customer-focused Sales Design Consultant to join our growing team. This field-based role involves conducting in-home consultations across the Northwest, helping customers create tailored solutions for their homes while delivering an outstanding buying experience.

You will receive a schedule of fully qualified appointments each day, alongside additional earning opportunities through self-generated business.

The ideal candidate will be confident managing the full sales journey — from initial consultation and design advice through to follow-up and closing — while building lasting customer relationships and consistently achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the company professionally as a trusted brand ambassador
  • Conduct engaging and consultative in-home sales presentations
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products and solutions
  • Guide customers through design choices, configurations, and material selections
  • Maximise sales opportunities through effective follow-up communication
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
  • Build strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Collaborate closely with the wider sales and customer service teams
  • Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide market insights
  • Accurately prepare quotations, proposals, and sales documentation
  • Maintain up-to-date records using CRM and sales systems
  • Flexibility to attend home visits approximately one weekend per month, and potentially up to twice a week until 7pm, depending on customer demand.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in direct-to-consumer or in-home sales
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Professional and persuasive approach with a strong focus on customer experience
  • Highly organised with effective time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
  • Confident using CRM platforms and sales software
  • Adaptable and open to new sales methods and processes
  • Experience within the home improvement industry is desirable but not essential
  • Strong commitment to post-appointment telephone follow-up, which is key to success in this role
