Overview

Join the team as a multi-skilled general builder and working foreman, combining practical construction work with day-to-day site coordination. You’ll help deliver quality work safely, organise tasks and support colleagues on site.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out general building and repair work, including carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing and masonry.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely for construction, maintenance and fabrication tasks.
  • Coordinate daily work, allocate tasks and monitor progress to keep jobs organised.
  • Check workmanship, maintain a tidy work area and raise safety or project concerns promptly.
  • Your impact: Careful coordination and quality workmanship help clients receive dependable results and enable the team to work safely and efficiently.

Experience

  • Practical experience across several building trades; strengths in carpentry, roofing, painting, plumbing or masonry are particularly useful.
  • Welding, electrical experience and fabrication skills are welcome.
  • Confident using hand tools and power tools, with a sound understanding of safe working practices.
  • Previous experience guiding or supervising colleagues on site is advantageous.

Pay: £42,000.00 per year
