Job Title: Building Surveyor

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join our client’s team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing a variety of building surveying projects, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards. You will work closely with clients to understand project requirements, deliver cost-effective solutions, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct building surveys, inspections, and assessments to support project planning and management.
• Prepare detailed reports, specifications, and schedules of works.
• Advise clients on building regulations, construction methods, and sustainability practices.
• Oversee project timelines, budget management, and quality control.
• Work closely with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to coordinate successful project delivery.

Requirements:

• Professional qualification in Building Surveying or a related field.
• Proven experience in building surveying, preferably within a consultancy setting.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations, property law, and construction best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational skills.
• Membership with RICS or working towards it (preferred).
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
