Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities

You will provide trusted leadership for RICS on professional and technical matters within key sectors of the surveying profession, globally. As part of a senior specialist team, the role’s principal purpose is to develop and maintain a body of trusted, sector focussed standards and related professional development for the chartered surveying profession.

About You

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Relevant sector-based expertise with deep understanding and passion for the importance of excellence in professional surveying to society

  • A track record of delivering sound business outcomes in a multi-stakeholder environment with competing interests, which are justifiable to all

  • Capable of engendering trust and confidence with senior public and market stakeholders, capable of projecting RICS’ brand credibly in an international environment

  • An enthusiastic and committed team player, capable of working effectively in a matrix environment

  • First class, written and oral communication – this role will require you to deliver impactful profession and public facing communications which influence educate and guide relevant audiences
  • High levels of intellect and the ability to apply this to development of solutions in emerging, complex issues, across a wide range of situations, at speed if necessary
