Level 3 Nursery Practitioner - Come and Make a Difference Every Day

Full Time | Abacus Nursery School | Bromsgrove

Be Part of Something Exciting

Due to the continued growth of Abacus Nursery School and the expansion of our 0-2s provision, we are looking for an exceptional Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape and develop our baby and toddler environment, creating a warm, nurturing space where our youngest children can thrive, explore and flourish.

Not All Nursery Jobs Are the Same

At Abacus Nursery School, we don't believe children should spend their days sitting at tables completing activities chosen for them.

We believe childhood should be full of muddy puddles, stories, discoveries, giggles, cuddles, adventure and the freedom to explore.

We're looking for someone who shares that vision.

Someone who understands that working with babies and toddlers isn't just about routines and observations.

It's about celebrating first steps.

It's about comforting a child who misses their family.

It's about turning a cardboard box into a rocket ship.

It's about helping children build the confidence, curiosity and resilience that will stay with them for life.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Love About Working With Us

✨ A genuinely supportive team that values and respects one another.

✨ Leaders who actively work alongside you and listen to your ideas.

✨ Opportunities to continue learning and developing your career.

✨ A beautiful environment where children are encouraged to learn through play, exploration and curiosity.

✨ A nursery that puts children's wellbeing, staff wellbeing and strong family relationships at the heart of everything we do.

✨ The chance to be part of an exciting period of growth as we expand our provision for babies and toddlers.

The Role

As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will work closely with our babies and toddlers, creating a warm, safe and inspiring environment where they feel secure, valued and excited to learn.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional care and education for children aged 0-2 years.
  • Building positive and meaningful relationships with children and their families.
  • Planning engaging learning experiences that follow children's interests and developmental needs.
  • Observing, assessing and recording children's progress in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Supporting children's emotional wellbeing, communication skills and independence.
  • Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and hygiene.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a passionate and dedicated team.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

✅ Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.

✅ Has experience working with babies and/or toddlers.

✅ Has a warm, caring and positive personality.

✅ Builds strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.

✅ Has a good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements

✅ Is enthusiastic, reliable and ready to make a difference every day.

✅ Understands that every child deserves to feel valued, included and celebrated.

Our Promise To You

We know that great nurseries are built by great people.

That's why we're committed to creating a workplace where you feel supported, appreciated and genuinely excited to come to work each day.

We invest in our team, celebrate successes together and encourage everyone to contribute their ideas as we continue to grow.

Because when our team thrives, our children thrive too.

Safeguarding

Abacus Nursery School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and relevant suitability checks.
