The Bell, Wortwell will soon be reopening following an extensive renovation and under new management — and we are looking for enthusiastic Waiting & Bar Staff to help launch this exciting new chapter.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a newly refreshed village pub from the very beginning and become part of building a welcoming, high-quality hospitality business at the heart of the local community.

We’re creating a warm and friendly environment focused on excellent food, quality drinks, and outstanding customer service — and we’re looking for team members who want to grow with the business.

The Role

You will play a key part in creating a positive experience for every customer and helping establish The Bell as a standout destination in the area.

Responsibilities include:

  • Taking food and drink orders accurately
  • Serving food and beverages to customers
  • Preparing and serving drinks behind the bar
  • Handling payments and operating the till
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the venue
  • Working closely with kitchen and front-of-house colleagues
  • Delivering friendly, professional customer service at all times

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for people who are:

  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • Comfortable working in a busy hospitality environment
  • Strong team players with good communication skills
  • Available to work evenings and weekends

Previous experience in hospitality or bar work is preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidates with the right attitude.
