Event Manager

Permanent Position with a 6-Month Initial Probation

Full-Time Role: Core Hours 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (some flexibility possible upon discussion)

Based in our Cardiff head office, with the requirement to be in office Mondays and Tuesdays; remote work is an option for the remaining days.

Salary: Competitive, based on experience (Circa £26,000 - £30,000) + Pension, Private Healthcare, and Bonus Scheme.

We Are Looking for an Event Manager

Join our team and contribute to a range of client event projects. As an Event Manager, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the flawless execution of high-calibre international conferences and events through meticulous planning, coordination, and on-site management.

Your Role Will Involve

· Collaborating with a dedicated team to conceptualize and execute premier international policy events.

· Taking charge of event planning and logistics, working closely with company directors and stakeholders.

· Building and nurturing relationships with clients, sponsors, high-level speakers, and delegates.

· Managing event timelines, setting and achieving targets, and ensuring top-notch delivery.

· Overseeing the creation and management of event websites and virtual platforms.

· Crafting event marketing communications.

· Traveling to and managing on-site event operations, ensuring a seamless experience for both in-person and virtual participants.

· Conducting comprehensive post-event evaluations and reporting.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in project or event management.

A knack for organisation, multitasking, and detail orientation, with a capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Exceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spirit.

Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.

A proactive approach to problem-solving.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and other packages such as Adobe Suite

AV and Tech Experience

While not essential, we are seeking candidates with experience in AV and event tech, or as a minimum, an eagerness and aptitude to learn, making this an ideal opportunity for those looking to expand their skills in this area.
