Full job description

We are seeking a SHEQ Assistant to support site operations in Gilston. The role will involve assisting with health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance across the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site inspections of works
  • Assistance with close-out of client inspections
  • Delivery of inductions for new starters
  • Quality inspections in line with the ITP (provided)
  • Environmental inspections of works under FRAP
  • Water testing and record keeping for Environment Agency (EA) compliance
  • Writing and reviewing in-house RAMS
  • Reviewing subcontractor RAMS
  • Uploading documentation to the IMS (Information Management System)
  • Other duties as required to support site operations

Requirements:

Must have:

  • NEBOSH Health & Safety for Construction Certificate (in progress or completed)

Desirable:

  • IEMA Environmental Qualification or NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate

Additional Information:

  • Immediate start required
  • Full driving licence essential
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project (MPP)
  • Based in or able to commute to Gilston
  • Working hours: 07:30 – 17:00
