About Us:

The Orchard Trust is a place filled with love and support where people can show their value and know their worth. We respect everyone involved in the Trust, working together with a culture of openness and celebrating the individuality of our staff, volunteers and clients.

We provide daily support within our homes, therapy suite and day service for people with learning and/or physical disabilities.

Responsibilities:

We are currently looking for a maintenance person to join the existing team at Orchard Trust. You will be working across all our services within The Forest of Dean dealing with a variety of maintenance issues and will need a diverse skill set.

You must be able to drive, having a mix of general building and DIY skills is essential, knowledge and ability to plaster, bricklay and plumbing are desirable. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with years of experience that is looking for a change but still wants to put all their experience and knowledge to use every day.

Orchard Trust is a charity that supports adults with learning disabilities, we need someone to help us keep the homes and services of the people we support in tiptop condition, this will be such a rewarding job and life experience for the right person.

Enhanced DBS and references required for this position.

Salary:

Along with a basic salary of £25,260 - £33,000, depending on skill set and experience, you will also be entitled to a Cashback Healthcare Scheme, Life Assurance and a workplace pension. 37.5 hrs per week to be used flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
