Multi-Trade Bricklayer – Brickwork Bias

£180–£190 per day + paid call-out rota
Full-Time | Permanent | PAYE

The Role

CC Cousins is a leading Facilities Maintenance provider delivering commercial and retail maintenance across the South of the UK.

We are looking for an experienced Multi-Trade Bricklayer to join our Building Fabric Team. Brickwork is the main trade, so you should have a strong background in bricklaying and be confident carrying out general building and fabric maintenance.

The role involves working across a variety of commercial and retail sites, completing everything from small reactive repairs and remedial brickwork through to larger quoted works.

You’ll ideally have experience in:

  • Brickwork & blockwork – main trade
  • Repointing and remedial brickwork
  • Repairs to walls, brickwork and masonry

With additional skills in some or all of the following:

  • Carpentry
  • Roofing
  • Painting & Decorating
  • Plumbing
  • Tiling
  • General building and fabric repairs
  • Minor reactive repairs, including toilet repairs and waste clearance

What we're looking for

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Bricklaying or a relevant trade
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant trade experience
  • Strong bricklaying background
  • Commercial maintenance experience preferred
  • Competent carrying out remedial and repair works
  • Able to work independently and use your initiative
  • Good attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements

What we offer

  • £180–£190 per day

  • 7-day call-out rota – paid in addition to your salary
  • Overtime available
  • Full-time, permanent PAYE position
  • Monthly pay – 5th of each month
