Converted is a conversion focussed digital marketing agency, we help eCommerce and lead gen companies generate more traffic, leads, and sales from their marketing channels and websites.

We work hard but only during office hours and there are no late nights or weekends plus being remote means there's no time-wasting daily commute!

We are looking for a skilled SEO professional to join and help shape a successful department within a leading UK agency. This role allows you to work remotely and only attend the office for a monthly team meetup and occasional client meeting trip.

The Role

Our SEO manager will be responsible for creating and implementing Search Engine Optimisation strategies for national and international clients, acting as both a consultant and a project manager for our clients regarding SEO activity.

Dealing directly with key stakeholders both internally and externally you will be required to show an excellent level of knowledge in SEO as well as high levels of prioritising, organisation, communication, delegation and business acumen.

While you will have the support network of senior management and your colleagues, you will have overall autonomy and responsibility to manage your own portfolio of clients and help optimise the daily working practices of the SEO department.

For your clients, you will be required to provide - In-depth analysis, creativity, problem-solving and implementation of the strategy.

You will also be required to undertake audits for prospective clients as well as delegate and communicate actions with support staff in order to deliver performance for the company and its existing clients.

The Candidate

The successful candidate must have a high level of competency in SEO strategy and implementation. Ideally from an agency background (not essential, will consider client-side dependant on the level of experience).

You must:

  • Display relevant SEO experience.
  • Have at least 12 months of experience in a busy SEO role.
  • Be professional and articulate.
  • Be comfortable communicating to all levels of society and roles.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent English reading and writing skills.
  • Have strong organisational skills.
  • Be a confident decision-maker.
  • Be highly analytical.
  • Be competent with Mircosoft office packages such as word and excel.
  • Understand basic customer service expectations and associated skills.
  • Google Analytics knowledge.

Advantageous to have (but not essential):

  • Link Building and outreach best practice.
  • Technical SEO basic principles.
  • Leadership or project management experience.
  • Website tracking requirements
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Knowledge of using third-party digital marketing software such as Moz, SEM Rush, AhRefs etc.
  • Knowledge of other digital marketing mediums such as PPC or CRO

The Package

This role is full time 9 am to 5 pm Mon-Fri (although we usually finish early on Fridays!)

  • Attend a 9:30 to 3:30 team meet-up in Sheffield each month.
  • Minimum 33 days holiday per year.
