Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design sensibility, technical expertise, and the ability to manage projects from conception through to completion. This role requires proficiency in various architectural software and a passion for innovative design solutions that meet client needs while adhering to regulatory standards.

Duties

  • Develop and present architectural designs and concepts using software such as Sketchup, AutoCAD and the Adobe Design Suite.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into functional designs.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets effectively while coordinating with contractors and other stakeholders.
  • Incorporate details into designs to enhance functionality and aesthetics.
  • Sketch initial concepts and refine them through iterative design processes.
  • Ensure all designs comply with local building regulations and sustainability practices.

Requirements

  • A degree in Architecture or a related field is essential.
  • Proficiency in architectural software including, Sketchup, AutoCAD and Adobe Design Suite.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • A portfolio demonstrating previous work in architectural design is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment as well as independently when required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail in both design and execution.
