What you would do

Typical responsibilities could include:

• Overseeing day-to-day site operations and managing site teams across trades
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, building regulations and SMSTS requirements
• Managing site progress, timelines and quality against project specifications
• Liaising with clients, main contractors and subcontractors to maintain communication and resolve issues
• Monitoring site safety, conducting toolbox talks and maintaining incident reporting
• Managing site resources, equipment and material logistics
• Preparing and maintaining site documentation, including daily reports and records

What you could bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification or equivalent health and safety qualification
• 2–5 years' experience as a Construction Supervisor, Site Supervisor or equivalent site management role
• Knowledge of building regulations, CDM and construction safety standards
• Experience managing teams and coordinating multiple trades
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Driving licence (desirable)
