Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Passive Fire Contracts Manager, with at least two years project management experience, to lead and manage our passive fire protection projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection, excellent project management skills, and a commitment to safety and compliance. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of passive fire protection contracts, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of passive fire protection projects
  • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Ensure all work is carried out to compliance and details
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess progress and quality of work
  • Prepare and present project reports, updates, and documentation to stakeholders
  • Oversee procurement of materials
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project teams
  • Create and sustain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business


  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the fire protection industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of passive fire protection systems, Fire doors would be advantageous
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools such as Office 365
  • Ability to prepare and present reports in excel
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must have relevant certifications such as NVQ6 and IFE level 3 (2)
  • SMSTS is desirable
