Care Assistant - Domiciliary

Pay: 14.90 Per Hour / Weekend Rate £15.00 / Bank Holiday Rate - £29.20 Per Hour
Hours: Full-time & part-time available (contracted up to 30 hours)
Mileage paid at 35p per mile (HMRC reclaim option)

We are recruiting Care Assistants for both part-time care jobs and full-time care jobs. Flexible hours are available, with contracted hours up to 30 hours per week. We particularly need carers to work early mornings (7am9am) and evenings (7pm10pm), including alternate weekends or the same day each weekend.

Responsibilities of a Care Assistant / Care Worker:

  • Deliver personal care support (bathing, toileting, dressing)

  • Administer medications safely as per guidance

  • Provide companionship, emotional support, and encourage wellbeing

  • Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and dietary needs

  • Support with mobility assistance (e.g. transfers to chairs/wheelchairs)

  • Help with light housekeeping and maintain a safe environment

  • Keep accurate care records and daily observations

Requirements for Care Assistant:

  • Full UK Driving Licence, access to a car, and business insurance

  • Right to work in the UK

  • A caring, compassionate, and reliable nature

  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team

  • Willingness to work flexible shifts (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)

  • Previous experience in care work, support work, domiciliary care, or home care is desirable but not essential we provide full training
