About the Role

£28,000 plus commission OTE £35k

We are seeking experienced and motivated Full Time Assistant Manager to join our team. These are key customer facing roles suited to someone with a strong background in retail sales who understands how to build relationships, manage customer data effectively, and consistently deliver results.

As a Sales Advisor, you will act as a brand ambassador, guiding customers through the buying journey with confidence and professionalism. You will combine excellent customer service with structured sales techniques, ensuring that every interaction supports both customer satisfaction and business growth. This will involve visiting our customers at their home or place of work So you will need a full driving licence to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement and Sales

  • Greet customers warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression
  • Identify customer needs through effective questioning and active listening
  • Deliver clear and confident product demonstrations, highlighting key features and benefits
  • Use upselling and cross selling techniques to maximise sales opportunities
  • Build and maintain long term customer relationships
  • Accurately capture and update customer information within the CRM system
  • Follow up on leads, enquiries, and previous customers using the CRM platform
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain high standards of phone etiquette when dealing with customer communications
  • Delivery of products in company vehicle

Store Standards and Merchandising

  • Maintain excellent visual merchandising standards throughout the store
  • Ensure displays are well stocked, organised, and visually appealing
  • Support promotional campaigns and seasonal layout changes
  • Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming retail environment

Operations and Administration

  • Operate POS systems accurately and efficiently
  • Process cash and card transactions in line with company procedures
  • Carry out retail math calculations where required
  • Support inventory management, stock checks, and replenishment
  • Assist with deliveries and movement of stock
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety procedures

Skills and Experience Required

  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in retail sales or a customer facing sales environment
  • Demonstrable experience using CRM systems to manage leads and customer relationships
  • Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident in delivering product demonstrations and closing sales
  • Experience with POS systems and cash handling
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
  • Physically capable of lifting and carrying 30kg or more
