In the Dairy Consumer Foods business division (where this role is based) we have a strong track record in innovation underpinned by technology and science across both well known consumer brands and Private Label products. Through our multi-geographical presence (UK, Ireland, and Western Europe) we have a deep consumer insight which is a key component of the business. Our core categories include cheese snacks, (Strings and Things, Attack-a-Snak), natural cheese (block, slices and grated), processed cheese, as well as butter, dairy and plant based spreads through Dairygold, Low Low, Pure and Golden Cow. We are the largest supplier of Private Label dairy spreads, supplying all major retailers in Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe.

About the role

We have an exciting new exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive Apprentice.


We are looking for a passionate individual wanting to forge a career in sales, learning on the job as a skilled apprentice, based in our Staines office, with travel over the UK. You’ll be working in a fast, agile, and ambitious environment, with talented people who really care about what they do. You’ll be supported to learn and grow, in real time, real account management, shaping our business with selected customers. Like our entire team, you’ll never stand still.


Kerry operates a Hybrid working policy, candidates will be required to work from our Staines office each week.

What will I be doing?


Learn and develop organisational, manufacturing and product knowledge and category understanding.

Meeting customers, identifying opportunities, needs, and solutions. Building sales skill set.

Build knowledge of commercial and financial acumen (Understanding of profit & Loss, return on investment, budgeting, pricing, promotions, credit, terms agreements.)

Discover and understand other roles within Sales including brand, category, customer services and demand planning.

Support, plan, and attend Trade Events

Interacting with multiple contacts, internally and externally.

What do I need to be successful in this role?


Proven results in school & college. A – Levels / GSCE Maths & English

Demonstrate an interest in selling, customer service, and any experience would be advantageous.

Ability to use Microsoft 365, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Energetic, enthusiastic, and proactive yet focused, attention to detail and task orientated.

Open to learning, courageous to overcome challenges.

Proven track record in team collaboration and can demonstrate examples of being a team player.

Effective communication skills – ability to clearly communicate to wider stakeholders.

Comfortable to travel, public transport/ overnight accommodation.
