The role (Residential Support Worker / Childcare Support Worker)

  • Supporting children and young people in a residential care setting
  • Building positive relationships, structure and daily routines
  • Supporting education, activities and appointments
  • Working alongside social workers and professionals
  • Writing reports and maintaining accurate records
  • Promoting safeguarding and positive outcomes

This is a hands-on role and requires resilience, reliability and a strong work ethic.

Requirements (non-negotiable)

  • Must be 21 or over (legislation requirement)
  • Full UK MANUAL driving licence (not automatic)
  • Ability to work shifts including sleep-ins, nights, weekends and bank holidays
