Job Title: Plumbing and Heating Engineer

Location: Our factory is situated in Lytham St Annes, travel is from our central base in our fully stocked install vans to addresses around Lancashire.
Shift: Monday to Thursday 07:30am till 17:45 Candidate must be flexible as jobs can run over.

Plumbing and Heating Engineer

We’re recruiting plumbing and heating engineers to install our air source heat pumps around Lancashire. We’re looking for driven people who have experience installing wet heating systems and we provide full training for our engineers looking to make the transition into the exciting world of renewable energy.

What you’ll do

  • You’ll work as part of a team travelling to domestic addresses around Lancashire installing first time central heating with our air source heat pumps.
  • You’ll attend our in house training centre to complete product training as well as attending industry standard courses.
  • You’ll expand your knowledge of heat pumps and associated systems including design through to commissioning.
  • You’ll help lead a team of installers to deliver a quality installation and customer experience.
  • You’ll help provide feedback to the management team at the factory to help improve the efficiency and quality of the installations.
  • You’ll work alongside other trades to complete the commissioning process.

Skills and experience

  • You’ll have experience installing boilers and wet heating systems including copper pipework and radiators, air source experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • You’ll be an experienced plumbing and heating engineer with knowledge of heating system design as well as domestic hot and cold-water system knowledge.
  • You’ll have the ability to challenge system design that is presented to you and adapt during the dynamic environment of an installation.
  • You’ll have basic fault-finding experience of wet systems and basic electrical knowledge.
  • You’ll be confident making site specific decisions to help deliver installations on time and to a high standard.


  • Minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent.
  • Water regulations (Desirable)

  • Gas Safe (Desirable)
  • Bpec L3 heat pumps (Desirable)
