Full job description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced plumber / mechanical fitter to work in our busy maintenance team at our expanding Sulis Hospital.

You will need to work closely with clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure that both planned maintenance and reactive maintenance are carried out efficiently and safely to ensure that site availability for patient treatment is maximised.

The job will involve all elements of building maintenance work and would suit a multi-skilled plumber or mechanical fitter. Good communication skills, good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision is essential for the successful candidate.

The role will also have the requirements to be part of the on-call service for the site to respond to emergency out of hours situations.
