Position: Production Operative

Reports to: Working Team Leader

Role Overview: Based at our Tallington site, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring products are produced to the highest standards, meeting the required safety and quality standards.

Key Accountabilities:

· Operating equipment in line with Health & Safety procedures and ensuring that this is adhered to at all times

· Working as part of a team and/or individually in a busy manufacturing environment ensuring that product is manufactured to the expected the standard

· General operative duties capable of movement between departments

· Assembly work

· Palletisation of large components

· Accurate picking and packing of small parts to documented bills and instructions

· Working to tight deadlines

· Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping

· Maintaining quality control throughout all areas of production

Associated Responsibilities:

· Support of all operations related activities as required particularly during periods of unplanned absence, holidays and high workloads.

Experience and Training:

· Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

· Previous experience in a warehousing environment

· Previous experience operating plastic forming machines is advantageous.
