Library and Information Assistant | 10422 | Permanent Contract | 16 hours per week | £25,989 to £26,403 per annum pro rata (Scale D) | North Walsham and Stalham Libraries

Norfolk Library & Information Service has just the job for you!

From babies to business start-ups, from families to young people, adults and older people, our Library Service is committed to supporting everyone in Norfolk to read for pleasure and to access information and a wide range of social activities that will help them live healthy, fulfilling, and independent lives.

If you are confident with IT, enjoy engaging with people of all ages and backgrounds and LOVE a good book, the North Walsham and Stalham Library Cluster needs you!

The role will involve some time when you work on your own, but you will receive plenty of training for this and every other aspect of this interesting and rewarding role.

Based at North Walsham and Stalham Libraries, 16 hours per week.

Mondays 10.30am – 7pm with one hour for lunch , based at North Walsham Library

Thursdays 11am-7pm with one hour for lunch, based at Stalham Library.

Alternate Saturdays 1pm-4pm, based at Stalham Library.

The shortlisting process will consist of an initial shortlisting interview on Teams. Successful shortlisted candidates will then be invited to a face-to-face interview at North Walsham Library.
