Our Horsham Farm School Nursery is based on a working farm with animals - including Woody the pig, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs - that children interact with and help to care for daily. We are in search of a Practice Leader to join the team at our beautiful nursery

What type of person do we look for? Someone with…

  • Level 3 (or above) Childcare qualification
  • Previous experience of managing a team/individuals
  • An inspirational leader with high impact, professionalism and credibility
  • Critical and creative thinker who welcomes a challenge and thrives on problem-solving
  • Passion for delivering high standards of customer service and striving to constantly push the excellence boundaries
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels (parents, children, colleagues and senior management)
  • Great passion for child development and a good working knowledge of the EYFS 0-5 years
  • Experience of working with and supporting SEN children highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and able to work effectively in a team
  • A determined, persistent, and resilient person, who approaches and overcomes challenges with a positive attitude.
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Naturally proactive
  • A sense of humour, common sense, and a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Masses of drive, ambition, and energy!
  • Desire to learn about the Reggio Emilia approach.

  • Our nurseries operate 51 weeks per year, from 7.30 am - 6 pm. We do not offer school hours or term-time only positions.
