Key Responsibilities

Our Executive Chef will:

  • Provide inspirational leadership across all kitchen operations, creating an environment where teams thrive and perform at their best.
  • Develop and evolve exciting seasonal menus that showcase exceptional ingredients, creativity and craftsmanship.
  • Drive consistency, quality and innovation across all outlets.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to deliver commercial objectives while maintaining outstanding guest satisfaction.
  • Mentor, coach and develop future talent, building a strong succession pipeline across the estate.
  • Oversee food cost management, labour planning and overall kitchen performance.
  • Champion the highest standards of food safety, compliance and operational excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure access to the finest seasonal and sustainable produce, whilst minimising food miles and maximising opportunities to utilise estate-grown produce.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the guest experience and strengthen Pennyhill Park's reputation as a leading culinary destination.

Person Specification

You'll be a highly accomplished Executive Chef, with a proven track record of leading large-scale culinary operations within luxury hospitality environments.

You'll bring:

  • Significant experience leading multi-outlet kitchen operations within luxury hotels, resorts or premium hospitality venues.
  • A genuine passion for exceptional food, innovation and guest experience.
  • Strong commercial awareness and confidence in managing budgets, labour costs and food GP performance.
  • Outstanding leadership and people development skills, with a commitment to nurturing talent and building high-performing teams.
  • The ability to inspire, motivate and influence colleagues at all levels.
  • A hands-on approach combined with strong strategic thinking and operational expertise.
  • An unwavering commitment to quality, consistency and excellence in every aspect of the culinary operation, whilst remaining focused on sustainability, seasonality and responsible sourcing.
