About the Role

As a Maintenance Team Member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our accommodation, facilities, and grounds, ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable experience. Working as part of the Estates team, you will create a welcoming and well-maintained environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accommodation, building, and facilities maintenance to a high standard.
  • Conduct basic electrical and plumbing tasks.
  • Ensure holiday accommodation is well-maintained.
  • Use the company’s online maintenance job book (training provided).
  • Log faults and issues to your supervisor.
  • Drive, maintain, and clean company vehicles and machinery.
  • Perform any other duties as required to ensure smooth department and company operations.

Education, Training, and Experience

  • Previous maintenance experience is essential.
  • Good working knowledge of plumbing and general DIY.
  • Experience using machinery and tools relevant to maintenance and groundskeeping.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self‑motivated, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Well‑presented and professional at all times.
  • Full, clean driving licence required.

Hours of Work

37.5 hours per week, with shifts to suit business needs. This includes some evenings (up to 7pm in the summer months), weekends (on a rota), school holidays, and bank holidays.
