Candidate Requirements:

We are looking for professionals who meet the following criteria:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in roof tiling or slating.
• Excellent timekeeping and dedication.
• Pride in performing quality work and getting the job done right the first time.
• Strong skills in identifying and resolving issues.
• Capable of working well in a team and leading projects to meet deadlines.
• Possess the necessary tools for high-standard work.
• Approachable, polite, and friendly towards customers, colleagues, and management.
• Hold a valid UK Driving Licence.

Job Description:

As an experienced roofer at Taylor Roofs, you will be responsible for:

• Full slate and Tile roof replacements
• Installing built-up roofing systems using torch-applied felt.
• Installing and maintaining UPVC roofline products and guttering systems.
• Performing lead work on chimneys, water gates, and other areas requiring lead flashing.
• Conducting a variety of repair and maintenance tasks to ensure roofs are in excellent condition.
• Ensure all roofing work is completed to the highest standards and meets safety regulations.
• Maintain a polite, friendly, and professional demeanour with customers, addressing any concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Identify and resolve any issues that arise during roofing projects, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
