Full job description

Evolve Facility Services was established in 2010 and is one of the largest in-house service providers in the UK, with offices in Widnes, Liverpool, Manchester, Leicester, Carlisle and County Durham.

We’re proud to be part of The Riverside Group family and look after around 80% of Riverside’s stock – that’s over 40,000 properties based across the Northwest, central, Northeast and North of England.

Our Mission is to keep our customers’ homes safe, secure and well maintained – it’s what we do.

We’re now looking for a Multi Joiner to join our friendly team in Workington to carry out a wide range of remedial works within the Cumbria region. The right candidate must be able to demonstrate that they are capable of a full range of building craft skills including associated property repair and refurbishment required to meet and to maintain Riverside housing stock to a high standard.

What’s in it for you

  • Basic salary: Up to £31,000.00
  • Up to 22 days’ annual leave plus 8 UK bank holidays
  • Company van
  • 40-hour week
  • Pension scheme

What you’ll do

You’ll play a crucial role in providing an excellent customer service to the residents of Riverside Housing properties. You can plan and organise your work to safely achieve maximum efficiency and deliver excellent results on a consistent basis. The successful applicant will manage the experience of customers to ensure positive relationships are established and maintained.

What we’re looking for

Essential skills and experience:

- Minimum of NVQ Level 2 in an associated building trade

- A full UK driving licence, held for at least 1 year

- Respiratory Protective Equipment will be provided for this role, so the successful candidate must be clean shaven.

If there are circumstances where it is not appropriate for an employee to be clean shaven (e.g., medical conditions or religious grounds), the company will ensure that adjustments are in place to accommodate protected characteristics.

We’re looking for someone with a minimum NVQ level 3 joinery / plumbing / any trade specific, who has their own tools and the ability to demonstrate a high level of customer care.

Ideally, you will have previously worked in a social housing environment.

If you’re the kind of person that wants to do a really great job and make a difference to our customers and colleagues, we think you’ll love it here.

We recognise that our colleagues are our greatest asset and want every single person to feel comfortable bringing their whole selves to work. We encourage diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all our colleagues. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and abilities.
