Immediate Start | KIMA Restaurant | Marylebone, London

KIMA is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week, weekends only). This is a great opportunity to become part of a busy, professional team in our acclaimed seafood restaurant in the heart of Marylebone.

As a Kitchen Porter, you will play an essential role in supporting our chefs and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently throughout service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Kitchen Porter or in a kitchen environment is preferred
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • High standard of personal presentation and hygiene
  • Friendly and positive attitude
  • Well organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to ensure waste is disposed of correctly and safely

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a constant supply of clean crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, and equipment
  • Wash pots, pans, and kitchen equipment, ensuring they are cleaned and stored correctly
  • Keep all kitchen areas clean and organised throughout service
  • Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times
  • Report any hazards, faults, or breakages to the management team
  • Support the chefs and kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
