Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
• Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with stock rotation, inventory checks, and restocking supplies as needed
• Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service
• Follow time management practices to ensure orders are prepared promptly during busy periods
• Support team members in various tasks to ensure smooth operation during shifts

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards is desirable
• Experience in serving customers and understanding of basic food safety protocols will be beneficial
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with good organisational skills
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and portion control
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food presentation techniques is a plus but not mandatory
