Job Summary

About AFJ Limited

We are a family owned and managed community transport business providing special needs school transport and care. We are looking to expand team in Liverpool and are looking for PCV D1 licensed drivers to join our great team. Our new team members need to be reliable, honest and caring as we look to deliver the extra support and routine that our passengers need.

You will be working alongside a Passenger Assistant to ensure our service users board and leave vehicles in a safe manner and are handled according to their individual needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance for special needs children and cater for their needs to access our vehicles safely
  • Demonstrate care and understanding for passengers and any medical conditions or needs they may have
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion of GDPR Regulations/Data Protection at all times
  • Communicate effectively with our clients, passenger assistants and management team
  • Inspecting and completing daily vehicle and equipment check via our electronic recording system
  • Work in a professional manner complying with safe systems of work at all times
  • Undertake regular assessments and training to ensure that as a team we offer the highest quality of service

Requirements

  • PCV D1 Licensed
  • CPC/ DQC Card
  • A minimum of 3 Years Driving Experience in the UK (Preferred)
  • Living in the Liverpool area and able to commute to our depot in Liverpool.
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Good Punctuality & Reliability
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good Communication & Problem Solving Skills
  • A caring attitude towards passengers and an ability to show empathy and respect
  • Willingness to undergo Induction & Continuous Training
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate
