Full job description

We are recruiting for a reliable and responsible driver to join our team, transporting children safely to and from school.

This role is term-time only, perfect for someone looking for a rewarding part-time role within the community, looking to start in August/September.

Location: Woking, Surrey
Salary: £12.94 per hour
Hours: 4–5 hours per day (split morning & afternoon shifts)
Contract: 20-25 hours part-time, term time only

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a D1 or D1 (101) category on your driving licence
  • Must live in or near Woking, Surrey
  • Hold a full, licence for at least 2 years
  • No previous experience required – full training provided

KEY DUTIES:

  • Carry out daily safety checks on the vehicle and related equipment
  • Keep vehicle clean and tidy, inside and out
  • Maintain accurate vehicle log sheets
  • Represent our service with a professional and friendly attitude

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Flexible and dependable
  • Good knowledge of Woking and surrounding areas
  • Friendly, cheerful, and a good communicator
  • Team player with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Respectful of confidentiality and sensitive information
