National Express PCV Coach Driver

• Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours per week - permanent position
• Weekday Rate: £16.75 ph. Night rate: £18.25
• Weekday O/T Rate: £18.77 Weekday Night O/T Rate: £20.45
• Weekend rate: £18.00 ph. Night rate: £19.50ph

The role:

Join the team operating services on behalf of one of the UK’s most iconic travel brands. As a Coach Driver on our National Express network, you’ll play a key role in delivering a safe, reliable, and comfortable journey to passengers across the country. Whether you’re driving long-distance or regional routes, you’ll be the face of our service – professional, courteous, and committed to exceptional customer service.

We currently have open vacancies on:

• Midnight’ rota:
• Operates between Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds
• Average 48.5 hours per week before overtime
• Earliest start time - 00:30
• Latest finish time – 12:15
• At least 2 rest days every week
• 1 weekend off every 3 weeks
• ‘Late’ rota:
• Operates, in the main, between Liverpool / Manchester - Milton Keynes (no London driving), Blackpool - Birmingham and Liverpool - Leeds
• Average 40 hours per week before overtime
• Tax free meal allowance payable on some duties
• Earliest start time – 14:00
• Latest finish time – 04:00
• At least two rest days every week, 3 rest days on over 1/3rd of weeks

You must meet the following essential criteria:

• A full, UK PCV (Category D) Licence
• A valid Digital Tachograph card (not essential at application stage, but must have one prior to start on duty)
• A Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• A maximum of 6 penalty points
• No unspent criminal convictions
