We’re Metroline Manchester, the newest addition to the Bee Network, buzzing in Greater Manchester since January 2025!
Back in March 2024, we were thrilled to have won four franchise contracts by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) – and just like that, we got to work bringing our services to life. We now operate over 200 routes on behalf of Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) from Hyde Road (Head Office), Tameside, Sharston and Wythenshawe depots.

Summary
Hours and pay:
- Monday to Friday (Split Shifts between 6am – 8pm)
- Part time Weekends only (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- Standard rota 5 days over 7 (Mixture of early/ mid/ late shift, Split Shifts and Weekends)
We are looking for positive and enthusiastic PCV Bus Drivers to join our teams at Wythenshawe, Tameside / Ashton-under-Lyne and Sharston to serve our local communities of Greater Manchester.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a positive, can-do attitude
- Carry out challenging manoeuvres in a safe, confident and competent manner
- Drive safely and professionally in line with road traffic legislation
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism at all times
- Work closely with colleagues, management, and support teams to exceed performance targets
- Identify and report any vehicle or service improvements
- Adhere to company policies and safety standards
- Ensure your bus is clean, safe, and roadworthy
Essential criteria:
- Valid PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) license/ Category D
- Up to date valid CPC
- The right to work in the UK
- Proven experience in commercial driving or bus operation.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm manner.
- No more than 6 points on your driving licence*
