Senior Insurance Consultant / Client Director

Commercial Insurance – Existing Client Portfolio & New Business

We are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Insurance Consultant / Client Director to join our growing commercial insurance brokerage.

This is an opportunity aimed at an established commercial insurance professional who has a proven track record, strong client relationships and an existing book of business, while also having the ability and ambition to generate new income.

The Opportunity

We are actively expanding our business and are looking for the right individuals to grow alongside us.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to bring and manage their own portfolio of commercial clients while benefiting from the infrastructure, insurer relationships and support of an established brokerage.

A profit-share arrangement will be agreed, providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to benefit directly from the profitability and growth of their client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bring an existing portfolio/book of commercial insurance clients and income to the business.
  • Retain, manage and develop relationships with existing clients.
  • Generate new business through personal relationships, referrals, networking and other opportunities.
  • Identify cross-selling and additional insurance opportunities within the client portfolio.
  • Manage the full insurance lifecycle of their clients, including new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments and ongoing client servicing.
  • Build strong relationships with insurers and negotiate competitive terms for clients.
  • Maintain a high standard of client service and ensure clients receive professional and commercially focused insurance advice.
  • Work from and alongside our existing office and broking team.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and development of the brokerage.

What We Are Looking For

Applicants must be experienced Commercial Insurance Brokers, Client Directors or Senior Insurance Executives with a solid and demonstrable track record.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An established commercial insurance client book or strong transferable client relationships.
  • A proven history of generating and retaining commercial insurance income.
  • Strong new-business development capabilities.
  • Excellent relationships with commercial clients and insurers.
  • Good technical knowledge across commercial insurance products.
  • The ability to independently manage and develop a client portfolio.
  • A professional, entrepreneurial and commercially focused approach.
  • A genuine ambition to build a substantial long-term book of business.
  • Good understanding of Acturis Systems

Remuneration & Profit Share

We recognise that experienced brokers who bring valuable relationships and income should participate in the success they create.

Accordingly, we are prepared to agree an attractive remuneration and profit-share structure with the right individual, based on their existing book, income generated and future growth.

The structure can be discussed individually and designed to create a genuine long-term partnership between the broker and the business.

Growth Opportunity

We are entering an exciting period of expansion and are looking for high-calibre commercial insurance professionals who want more than simply another employed broking position.

We want individuals who can bring business, create new opportunities and build their own portfolio within our organisation while sharing in the financial success they generate.

For the right person, there is significant scope to grow their client book, income and position within the business.

Applications and discussions will be treated in the strictest confidence.

Pay: £80,000.00-£250,000.00 per year
