A fast paced Business Development role within a rapidly growing company, that offers OTE of £50,000+ through uncapped commissions.

Who are we:

Vital Parts is ambitious and rapidly growing UK-based manufacturer and distributor of plastic, rubber, and metal components. We have been in the top 50 growth companies within Kent for the last 2 years, positioning 18th and 12th.

Our head office is based in Maidstone, Kent, with a further site based in Hampshire. Our growing range of 50,000+ parts make Vital Parts a one stop shop for any business or consumer needing mechanical components be that standard "off the shelf" items or parts designed and produced to unique requirements.

What we’re looking for:

Due to expansion, we currently have a very rare opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join our friendly and supportive New Business Team at our Head Office in Maidstone, Kent. You will be part of a 10+ person sales team which is made up of New Business Sales Executives, Account Managers and Sales Support Staff who assist all our 20,000 trade customers across the UK and overseas.

We will provide the successful individual with a full list of their own accounts, In-depth product training on everything we stock, on-going career development and dedicated weekly support sessions with your team leader to provide feedback and support in your role.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Working with customers both existing and new, qualifying their level of sales potential through outbound phone calls, using industry-based questions and knowledge
  • Managing a high number of inbound enquiries and leads into the business
  • Outbound calls to potential new and lapsed customers
  • Enriching our CRM profiles with up-to-date information and building the company profile.
  • Handling customer enquiries, raising quotes and working closely with other teams on these where additional support is required.
  • Working to ensure all daily / weekly / monthly activity and sales KPI’s are achieved.

What we can offer you:

  • Up to £30,000 per annum (salary) dependent on experience, with uncapped commissions for achieving targets, typically returning £15-20,000pa in year 3.
  • 15:30 finish every Friday
  • 25 days of annual leave as standard plus bank holidays (33 days total)
