Full job description

SALES EXECUTIVE (EDUCATION / INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMMES)

Liverpool (Office-Based) | Full-Time | £40K Base + Uncapped Commission | £60K+ OTE Recruitment managed by Sales Chief on behalf of Global School Alliance

Global School Alliance is building out its sales function and is looking for a commercially minded Sales Executive to support the next phase of growth.

This role sits at the centre of the business, converting interest from schools and partners into confirmed programmes, trips, and long-term partnerships.

What You’ll Get

  • £40,000 base salary
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • Realistic OTE: £60,000+
  • Strong inbound interest and existing opportunities
  • Clear structure, KPIs, and support
  • Opportunity to grow within a scaling, international business

Your Day-to-Day

  • Manage inbound enquiries and convert them into customers
  • Proactively engage high-potential prospects from the large database and network where appropriate
  • Run sales calls with schools, trusts, and partners
  • Guide prospects through the full sales process
  • Follow up consistently to progress opportunities
  • Maintain accurate CRM records (HubSpot)
  • Track activity and pipeline performance

This is a hands-on sales role where consistency, ownership, and follow-through are key.

Performance Expectations

  • Take ownership of your pipeline and revenue performance
  • Maintain consistent daily activity (calls, follow-ups, pipeline movement)
  • Deliver against agreed revenue targets
  • Ensure opportunities are actively progressed, not left idle

KPIs will be clearly defined and supported during onboarding.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 2–5 years’ experience in sales (B2B or consultative preferred)
  • Comfortable running sales calls and progressing deals
  • Happy to pick up the phone and call opportunities
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive and able to generate momentum, not just rely on inbound
  • Organised, accountable, and commercially aware
  • Able to operate effectively in a growing, evolving environment

This Role May Not Suit

  • Candidates who prefer purely inbound enquiries
  • Those who are not comfortable taking ownership of targets
  • Individuals looking for a highly structured, corporate environment

Why This Role Works

  • High-value offering with clear market demand
  • Combination of inbound opportunity and scope to create additional pipeline
  • Opportunity to take ownership of revenue generation
  • Involvement in building a sales function from the ground up
  • Direct link between performance and earning potential

Final Note

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of their pipeline, develop commercially, and play a key role in a growing business with international reach.
