Full job description

Join the team at our Northern Design Office located in Howden. Work on fun and engaging products for the play and leisure industries across the UK, and internationally. Our products can be found in schools, parks, swimming pools, soft play centres, theme parks, museums and more.

Responsible for 2D and 3D CAD development of designs through to production ready drawings and installation documentation. This is an opportunity to be part of a small dedicated team working on projects across our own ranges as well as bespoke projects for industry leading companies around the world. Be part of a business where design is central to the companies’ continuing growth and success.

Skills

  • 3D parts and assembly creation
  • Bills of Materials and data management
  • Technical drawing and instruction production

  • Work well within a small team and with other departments

IT Skills

  • CAD: Solid Edge / Solidworks (Including part creation, 3D assembly modelling, technical drawing, instruction creation and data management)
  • Rendering: KeyShot
  • Office: Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams

Experience

  • BA / BSc Hons degree qualified in Product Design, Design Engineering or equivalent

Hours

  • 40hrs/week (08:00 – 17:00, Mon – Fri)

Holiday

  • 24 days plus bank holidays

Work Environment

  • Small 6 person team office located in the heart of Howden, occasionally required to visit head office and manufacturing facility in Salisbury for training and events.
