ABOUT THE ROLE

Weltech International has been serving the poultry and agricultural sector since 1977. We're growing our team and looking for an experienced CCTV Engineer to join us full-time on a permanent basis.

This is a varied, field-based role covering new installations, planned maintenance, and reactive support across an expanding portfolio of farm sites across the UK. You'll work with both hard-wired and wireless solutions, dealing with real-world environments that keep the job interesting.

This is a long-term position with genuine scope to grow as the business expands nationally.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Installing CCTV cameras and associated equipment on agricultural sites
  • Working with hard-wired and wireless/mesh network solutions
  • Commissioning and testing systems before customer handover
  • Planned and reactive maintenance across the customer base
  • Supporting customers with queries, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting
  • Keeping accurate records of installations and service visits
  • Participating in an on-call rota for weekend support (1 in 6 weekends)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven experience installing and commissioning IP CCTV systems
  • Confident with both structured cabling and wireless/mesh solutions
  • Comfortable working in agricultural or rural environments
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and able to deal professionally with farm owners and site managers
  • Happy to participate in on-call rota and travel as required
  • Full, clean UK driving licence — essential

Desirable (not essential):

  • Experience in agricultural or farm environments
  • Familiarity with Hikvision, Dahua, or similar platforms
  • Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, PoE, VLANs)

WHAT WE OFFER

  • £32,000–£37,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • On-call standby allowance plus callout rates
