The Role

As our new Field Service Engineer, you will travel directly from home to install, service, and maintain high-quality security systems for our independent and corporate clients. While our headquarters is based in Birmingham, you will manage accounts nationwide. Remote travel and overnight stays are a standard part of this role, but your schedule and accommodation will always be organized well in advance by our dedicated service coordinators to ensure your routes are smooth, efficient, and manageable.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain high-quality security systems to industry-leading standards.
• Interpret and follow complex technical drawings, specifications, and wiring diagrams.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to build strong, lasting relationships with independent and corporate clients.
• Respond promptly to service calls and consistently meet client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Participate in a shared, 1-in-7-week 24-hour emergency standby rota (primarily telephone support).
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment to a high standard of safety and care.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven, hands-on experience within the security systems industry.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge or familiarity with industry-standard systems, including Honeywell Galaxy (Intruder), Paxton (Access Control), and Hikvision (CCTV).
• Licence: Full UK Driving Licence.

Pay: £32,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
