An experienced

On Bus Electrical Systems/CCTV Engineer (Evening Work 3pm to 1am) can be discussed at interview.

Based in Southampton area - to cover Wiltshire, Hampshire & Dorset

The role mainly involves post installation maintenance although some installation may be required. On bus electrical systems include CCTV, ticket machines, Tap on/Tap Off, next stop announcements, vehicle telematics and destination boards.

Duties
- Install, configure, and maintain on bus electrical and CCTV systems
- Design CCTV system layouts based on requirements
- Troubleshoot and repair on bus and CCTV equipment and network issues
- Create technical schematics for CCTV installations
- Conduct regular system inspections and maintenance of all on bus systems

Requirements
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Sound mechanical knowledge for system installation
- Experience in CCTV system design and implementation
- Strong understanding of computer networking principles
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Knowledge of computer hardware components related to CCTV and vehicle electrical systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills

The hours of work will be discussed at interview but can either be 4 x 10 hour evening shifts or 5 x 8 hour evening shifts per week. Evening work will be starting early afternoon and finishing 12 midnight/1am, with occasional weekend work.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience in automotive electronics/CCTV installation and maintenance.

Applicant must hold a full UK driving licence.

Salary is £35k+, dependant on experience. Package also includes use of a company van (business use only), mobile phone, pension, bus pass and employee benefits package. Previous applicants need not re-apply.
