AWC Staff Services are looking for Security Engineers to join their client, who cover Nationwide Security and Civils Engineering.

Our client are a major UK provider of Security and Civils engineering services to the UK utilities sector, due to expansion they are looking for Security Engineers, details as follows:

Essential Competencies:

· You will have a complete understanding and be able to demonstrate at least ONE of the following disciplines: Access Control, CCTV ,Intruder, Powerfence

· Gallagher Security Systems (Access Control or Perimeter)

· You will be forward thinking with an eye for detail.

· You will be expected to work alone and as part of a team and effectively plan your day to day works.

Role & Responsibilities:

· Fault diagnosis on Electrical Fence, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarms systems

· Installation of bespoke security systems

· Planned preventive maintenances on bespoke security systems

· Detecting and reporting defects, snags and complaints

· Responsibility for Van Stock / Replenishment and Stock Taking

· Competency in problem solving and an ability to make diligent recommendations

· Demonstration to Clients and End Users of completed systems or individual work(s)

· Arranging PAT and Meter Calibrations for company issued equipment

· Completion of Aset Tagging and Registration of Information

· Candidates must be PC and IT literate as recording of data and email are an important job requirement
