The Organisation

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a growing audio visual company in Leicestershire, Hybrid AV Ltd specialise in delivering audio visual services that include installations, live events, award nights and conferences to a wide range of clients all over the UK.

Overview

The role of Audio Visual Installation Technician is work alongside the team for pre project requirements including site visits and quotations through to fully installing all of the equipment, trouble shooting and providing tuition to the end users. When not working on installations you will also work as a technician in our events department so we are looking for a great all rounder!

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with various teams to deliver high-quality audio-visual experiences.

Responsibilities
- Set up and dismantle audio-visual equipment for events, including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools.
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on audio-visual equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to audio-visual systems during events and provide immediate solutions.
- Install and configure network systems, including Ethernet connections and CCTV setups.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations when handling electrical equipment.

Experience
The ideal candidate will have:

- Minimum of two years AV installation experience

- Audio Experience including mixing desks and microphones

- Live stream hardware and software including teams/neat bars

- IT Experience including Powerpoint, Microsoft office, conversant with MAC and PCs

- Experience with room automation and touch control, CCTV, Hikvision, Bird Dog etc

- Digital signage including touch screens and smartboards

As well as having the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with various teams to deliver high quality audio visual experiences you will also be able to work under pressure and possess strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and clients.

Please note that due to the nature of the live events industry this role includes working out of hours and occasionally at weekends

You must have a clean driving licence, a minimum of 2 years audio visual installation experience and can manage lifting and moving of heavy equipment

Hybrid AV Ltd will provide a full uniform, training courses where appropriate, company pension scheme and fun team days out.
