Full job description

This is a permanent full-time position for experienced senior data cabling engineer.

Basic Salary is dependent upon experience + over-time/pension/training/tools/clothing

A Full UK driving license is essential and you will be required to have a DBS check (formerly CRB)

The Company – ITS Networks Ltd is data cabling company established in 2011. We are based in Kettering Northamptonshire. We provide cabling solutions and installations for a broad range of corporate clients and small businesses across the UK in both in the business and educational sectors.

Skills Required

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of installation and termination of Category 5E, Category 6, Category 6A, Fibre cabling, AV and Wireless access points.
  • Network fault finding and resolution.
  • Splicing of fibre optic cables.
  • Installing all types of cable containment.
  • Ability to work in a small team or as part of a larger team on bigger projects.
  • Ability to work at height.
  • A clean driving license with no criminal convictions.

Desirable Accreditations / Experience

  • CSCS / SSSTS / ECS / IPAF / PASMA (training will be provided where required)
  • SC Clearance
  • CCTV installation and maintenance
  • Door Access installation and maintenance

About You

  • It is desirable to be living within a 20-mile radius of Kettering and/or ability to commute to/from the Kettering Office however candidates living further afield who meet the criteria will be considered.
  • Dependent on the location of the work, staying away from home during the week may be required, it is essential that you can stay away when required (accommodation will be provided).
  • You will be trustworthy and responsible, with the ability to work effectively to a high standard and to a deadline.
  • Flexible attitude towards working weekends and occasionally nights which provides the opportunity to increase earnings with overtime/shift allowances.
  • Eligible to work in the UK
