Full job description

One of the UK’s leading monitoring companies is looking to recruit a CCTV Installations Engineer to carry out regular servicing, reactive maintenance and commissioning of various IP CCTV, Access Control, and other associated systems, along with completing and submitting all relevant documentation. Ensuring up-to-date knowledge of, and compliance with, all relevant British Standards is essential. Most of our projects are in the North West but on occasion you may need to work away outside of normal working hours (8-4).

Main Duties & Responsibilities Include

Installation of IP CCTV on commercial projects

To maintain a working knowledge of IP systems and software

Regular routine servicing and reactive maintenance of IP CCTV and security systems

Commission of various systems.

Maintain an accurate and high standard of Customer, Company, and Personal information.

Work with a team to ensure commissioning is completed and carry out client training

Ensure van stock is maintained

Comply with H&S standards

Any other duties commensurate with the role

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Required

Full, valid driving licence

CSCS

Some experience of working with electrical/electronic security systems

A working knowledge of IP CCTV and analytics

Preferably some knowledge of networking and configuration

Familiarity with safe working practices and Health & Safety requirements

Excellent customer service skills

Client facing skills and stakeholder communication

Competent using technology such as laptops, smartphones etc.

Ability to maintain accurate records whilst regularly submitting customer and company paperwork in a timely manner

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team

Excellent oral and written communication skills

The ability to communicate effectively with staff at varying levels throughout the company

A genuine interest in your work with an enthusiasm and willingness to learn
