Security Engineer

Location: Wakefield – Travel will be required to work on sites.

Hours: 8am – 5 pm

Salary: £14.00 - £19.00 Dependent upon Experience

We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join our team, installing and maintaining security systems across a range of sites. The ideal candidate will have experience with intruder alarms, access control and CCTV, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

The Role

As a Security Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Installing intruder alarm systems, door access control systems and CCTV.
  • Working with a range of security systems and equipment.
  • Attending call-outs as part of a rota.
  • Managing your workload and time effectively.
  • Using your own initiative to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Communicating professionally with customers and colleagues.

The Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A full, valid driving licence.
  • A valid ECS card.
  • Experience installing intruder alarms, door access systems and CCTV.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently, use your own initiative and problem-solve.

Experience with the following systems would be an advantage:

  • Texecom
  • Galaxy
  • Orisec
  • Scantronic

Fire alarm experience would also be a bonus.
