Full job description

About Us

Technology Powered Services (TPS) is a fast-growing, privately owned infrastructure and technology business. Debt-free and financially independent, we design, install and support complex connectivity and infrastructure projects for enterprise customers and channel partners nationwide.

This role sits in our Cellular Infrastructure division, which delivers the technology elements of UK mobile network programmes: rigging, antennas and radios, power and electrical, microwave transmission, small cells, commissioning and decommissioning. The division is new and growing, so you will help shape how it works as it scales.

Our mission is to empower partners and enterprise customers by delivering complex infrastructure projects with unparalleled speed, precision and technical expertise.

The Role

You will install and upgrade antennas, radios, microwave and cabling on mobile sites as part of a rigging team that plans the job properly. You will:

  • Install and replace antennas, radio units, dishes and mounting steelwork
  • Set antenna heights, azimuths and tilts to approved designs
  • Route, secure, label and weatherproof feeder, fibre and DC cables
  • Work safely at height under site RAMS, lifting plans and rescue arrangements
  • Record installation details and photographs for the handover pack
  • Report progress and issues to your Rigging Team Leader

About You

  • Experience in mobile telecoms rigging or a closely related role
  • EUSR MATS climb and rescue, or equivalent (we can fund this for the right candidate)
  • RF awareness and emergency first aid at height
  • Able to read installation drawings and follow technical instructions
  • A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel and stay away

Highly desirable: rooftop access, IPAF, PASMA, asbestos awareness, a CSCS card and experience on operator upgrade programmes.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary package, commensurate with experience
  • Performance-related rewards aligned to role contribution and business performance
  • Investment in training, tickets, certifications and ongoing professional development. We fund the industry tickets the role needs for the right candidate, such as climb and rescue, RF awareness and first aid at height
  • Technically varied work on live UK mobile network programmes
  • Comprehensive benefits including Medicash, Cycle to Work, Employee Assistance Programme and Death in Service
  • Pension scheme, paid annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Regular company and customer events
  • A growing division where you can help shape how we work as it scales

Technology Powered Services is an equal opportunity employer, and we welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds and experiences.
