THE COMPANY
Ad Hoc sells a range of property management and security solutions, including CCTV. Towers and alarm installations and always looking to expand into other areas of security. Based north of Birmingham city centre we cover all of England, Scotland, and Wales from our Midlands hub.
The Role
This is a new exciting opportunity to join an ambitious, enthusiastic and passionate team from our Midlands hub.
The Alarms and CCTV Engineer join an existing small team and will be responsible for the installation, service and maintenance of Intruder Alarms and rapid deployment CCTV/fixed systems. The ideal person will be hardworking, driven, and self-motivated. They must be able to work as part of a team and alone, being able to use their own initiative. Experience in some areas is ideal and general technical knowledge and network skills will be an advantage, but full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Installation, service, maintenance, and removal of our wide range of security products including Alarms and CCTV.
- Attending urgent service calls to meet our service level agreements.
- Ensuring all logs for equipment and users are maintained including Troubleshooting and fault finding on all systems.
- Intruder Alarm and CCTV panel programming and client training.
- Managing relationship with monitoring company to ensure our service is delivered effectively and efficiently.
- Provide excellent service to customers both internally and externally.
- Ensuring all equipment and stock is stored and labelled in a professional way.
- Complete any other adhoc general maintenance duties.
- Up and cross sell our CCTV and Alarms.
- Champion our alarm and CCTV service within the business.
- Liaise with external contractors to complete any outsourced work and other specialist contractor visits, attending properties as and when required.
- Prepare correspondence, reports on installations, inspections, and recommendations for required action.
- Ensure systems are regularly inspected and tested and that plans are in place to resolve any issues identified.
- A flexible approach will be required to carry out any other duties required by the Company.
- Actively promote a safe working culture and compliance with all relevant Health and Safety and other statutory requirements.
- To survey properties and assess their suitability for our services if required.
- The role is busy and will include long journeys and may require staying away from home from time to time.
- Full initial and ongoing training will be provided
