Mac Systems is a family run business based in Wellingborough operating across Northamptonshire and the home counties. We are looking to employ an additional skilled engineer to join us, to meet the increase of demand for our services.

We supply and install a range of automated gate systems for industrial and domestic purposes including swing gates, sliding gates, pedestrian gates, barriers , fencing plus a lot more. We also install access control including CCTV, intercoms and much more.

Responsibilities:
- To provide support to a number of key customers within a radius of 25 miles of Wellingborough.

- Service and maintain existing and new equipment.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols while working on-site
- Test installed systems to ensure proper functionality, quality and safety.
- Provide excellent customer service whilst on site.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during site attendance.

Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability and ability to solve problems effectively.
- Knowledge of installation techniques and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.

Candidate Requirements:

· Possess fault-finding capabilities.

· You should be self-motivated.

· Possess excellent customer relation skills

· Have excellent communication skills – both verbal and written

· Hold a valid full UK driving licence.

· Pass a DBS check.

The following would be an advantage but not essential:

· A background in the construction and/or electrical industry.
