Starting salary of £35k, rising £37.5k after 6 months and £40k after 12 months.
We’re excited to be looking for a Trainee Signings Manager to join our vibrant and passionate team at our Albany Road, Roath branch. This is a full-time, permanent position. As full training will be provided, previous experience in property is not essential, but at least 2 years’ experience in a customer service or administrative role is required.
The role
- Overseeing the end-to-end tenancy progression process, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery
- Supporting and deputising for the Branch Manager in their absence, assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the office
- Acting as a senior point of contact for landlords and contract-holders, resolving complex queries and delivering a high level of service
- Monitoring and managing rent accounts, taking ownership of arrears processes and implementing proactive resolution strategies
- Overseeing the accurate processing of high volumes of rent payments and financial records
- Providing guidance and support to junior team members, helping to maintain high standards across the branch
- Handling escalated enquiries (phone, email, and in-person) with professionalism and confidence
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and customer experience
- Supporting wider operational, compliance, and administrative functions
About you
- The ideal candidate will have the ability to be organised, as prioritising workload effectively is vital.
- You will be required to use your own initiative and have a strong eye for detail as well as accuracy.
- You should possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- You’ll be a dynamic individual who thrives within a busy working environment, with the ability to work both alone and as part of a team.
Key info
- Starting salary of £35k, rising £37.5k after 6 months and £40k after 12 months.
- Hours: 8:30am - 5pm, Monday-Friday, office-based, with occasional half-day Saturdays potentially required (which can be used as time in lieu)
